The cheeky faces behind The Dirty Vegans…

Babs and GiGi first crossed paths in Barcelona back in 2018. From day one, they bonded over a shared love of adventure and a quest for the best food the city had to offer.

At the time, they were both meat-eaters looking to transition to a plant-based diet but found themselves struggling to find options that truly hit the spot. Coming from the UK and Ireland, where sandwiches are a lunchtime staple, they saw a gap in Barcelona’s food scene. And so, The Dirty Vegans was born—filling the city’s hearts and mouths with big, dirty, delicious sandwiches!

Now, they’re beyond excited to share that The Dirty Vegans is expanding to the UK! Franchising opportunities are available, with the first location set to open in Hackney in October 2024. They can’t wait to bring their beloved dirty sandwiches to the streets of London!

And remember, you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy these sandwiches…just a little bit dirty!
